Dame Ngozi Agu studied Accounting, Public Administration/Communication Arts. She is a professional Accountant fellow a certified National Accountants of Nigeria (CAN). She served in various capacities in the state Local Government System; as chief auditor, Director of finance and Treasure, and voluntarily retired from service in 2013. Mrs. Ngozi Agu served as a member Enugu State Community Development Coordinating Council (ECDCC). She also the Sullivan Chime Administration.

Dame Ngozi Agu is a member Governing Board of Godfery Okoye University Enugu.
Dame Ngozi Agu was the immediate past president General of CWO Enugu Dioceses. She served Catholic Woman Organization in various levels, was former president of CWO our Lady of Mercy Parish Iva valley Enugu, president of Catholic Woman Organization Nigeria. Presently represents National Council of catholic woman Organization Nigeria (NCCWO) in the governing Board of Catholic Institute of West Africa (CIWA) port Harcourt, Rivers state.

She is also the life matron Catholic Laity Council Enugu Diocese.
She is the chairman Board of Trustee Ndubisi community Basic Health Insurance Scheme (CBHIS) Enugu Diocese. Her enormous selfless service to humanity earned her a pontifical honour by pope Benedict XVI, Papal Medal of Cross Pro Ecclesia et Pontificie (C. O. H)

On the social scene, Dr. Mrs. Ngozi Agu is currently the president General of Udi Women Improvement Union and has the following awards; Chinyereude of Udi Ancient kingdom. 2008, among many other awards and tittle. She is a strong pillar in the course of women/child empowerment. She married to Ochudo S. I. Agu of Ekenene Village Udi.
