UPMFB has a new Company Secretary

A new Company Secretary was appointed by the Board of Directors of UPMFB following the voluntary resignation of the former Company Secretary of the bank, Rev. Sr. Barr. Benedicta Odoh, towards the end of last year. The new Company Secretary, Mr. Clifford Obu, Esq., was, at the time of his appointment, the Bank's Legal Officer.

Rev. Sr. Odoh, who had been the Company Secretary of the Bank since 2007, was elected the Secretary General of the Daughters of Divine Love congregation at the DDL's General Chapter held in 2016. The DDL is a holy congregation of reverend sisters, headquartered in the Catholic Diocese of Enugu but with branches all over the world.

Mr. Obu, Esq., who hails from Mgbagbu Owa in the Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State, is a duly qualified legal practitioner who joined the Bank in 2015 as Legal Officer following a period of private law practice in Abuja, FCT. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and is also Roman Catholic faithful.
