A Director of Umuchinemere Pro-Credit Micro Finance Bank Limited (UPMFB), Rev. Fr. Dr. Anthony Aniagbaoso Igwe (a.k.a. Uduatata) clocked 10 years in his priesthood of the Roman Catholic Church on July 13, 2012 and had an elaborate and grandeur celebration of the anniversary on Sunday, September 2, 2012 at his parish, Our Lady of Rosary Emene, Enugu.

The celebration which featured a High Mass and a grand reception attracted eminent personalities among the clergy of Enugu diocese and many other dignitaries among the lay faithful of the church in the diocese.

The High Mass was celebrated by the Bishop of Enugu diocese, Most. Rev. Dr. Calistus Chukwuma Onaga, in conjunction with the immediate past Bishop of the diocese, Most Rev. Dr. Anthony Okonkwo Gbuji, many priests and prelates (Monsignors) of the diocese, and Fr. Igwe, who was very joyous highly related and very characteristically humorous, providing his usual trait of comic relief on the occasion.

The event attracted a large turn out of people from different walks of life, and it went with pomp and pageantry. Among the congregation were Fr. Igwe's eldest brother and traditional ruler of Obeagwu Ozalla, Igwe Chibuike Casimir Igweh; the Vice Chancellor of the University of Nigeria Nsukka, Prof. Barto Okolo; the immediate past President General of Catholic Women Organization of Enugu diocese, Dame Ngozi Agu; Hon. Ta-hill Ochi; the Secretary of Ladies Auxiliary Knights of St. John International (LAUX KSJI) 596 (Queen of All Hearts) Uwani Enugu, Lady Loretta Anueyiagu; the Assistant General Manager Umuchinemere Pro-Credit Micro Finance Bank, Mr. Charles Ozor; Chairman of UPMFB Staff Welfare Association, Mr. Alex Achu; etc while the Homilist at the Mass was Msgr. Anthony Iloanusi.

In his homily, Msgr. Iloanusi described Fr. Igwe as a considerate person who fights for justice and leaves a bold imprint wherever he serves. He eulogized Fr. Igwe as a virtuous man with great passion for academics and its greater attainments. Monsignor Iloanusi prayed God to continue to be with Fr. Igwe, and urged him not to relent in his working for the good of humanity.

In a vote of thanks at the Mass, the jubilant priest thanked the Bishops and every other person that came to honour his invitation, as he seemed awed by the presence of so many people at the event.

Fr. Igwe was exactly 39 years on August 31, 2012, just two days before the celebration.

He's currently pursuing two more Ph.Ds in Economics and Philosophy at the two latter universities mentioned above. He's also pursuing a Master's degree in Health Administration and Management. Fr. Igwe who's currently a lecturer in Management at the University of Nigeria Enugu Campus, apart from being the parish priest of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish Emene, is the Administrator of Enugu Diocese's Hospitals and Shares in various profit making organizations, and the Diocese's Health coordinator.

The car, which one Hon. Ta-hill Ochi presented to Fr. Igwe on behalf of the donor, Goddy Egbuji, was in recognition and appreciation of his laudable service to Abor community when he was the Parish Priest of St. Peter's Parish Abor from 2002-2004.
